Freshdesk Integration

In order to integrating with Freshdesk, you will need to start by obtaining an API Key within your Freshdesk portal.

Obtain API Key

To obtain an API Key, follow these steps:

1. Sign into your Freshdesk portal and click on your Profile Picture

   
   
   

2. Select Profile Settings from the menu

   
   
   

3. Then click the View API Key button

   
   
   

4. Make sure to copy this key in a secure location as you will not be able to do so again

   

Add Configuration

1. Navigate to the Integrations tab using the left-hand menu, and select Freshdesk

   
   
   

2. Click the Add Configuration button and fill in the details below:

   
   
   
   

Name: Enter the name of the integration

is Enabled: Toggle button to ensure data is populated into Compyl

Domain: The domain name at the beginning of your Freshdesk URL (e.g.: It would by compyl if your URL were https://compyl.freshdesk.com/)

Key: The API Token you generated above

Once you have completed filling out the form click Save Configuration.

Note

To check if the integration is connected, navigate to the Integrations page in Compyl. If the Status icon shows an unbroken link in the right-hand corner, your integration is properly connected.

This integration syncs daily.
